Classic Ciabatta
This classic 350g loaf has a light textured centre with large holes typical of this bread style. Due to the production method it has a long shelf of 5 days from production. This bread refreshes easily by toasting or warming in a hot oven. Farretti Ciabatta is versatile and can be used for sandwiches, panini or toast. It's ability to absorb moisture makes it ideal for serving with dips, flavoured oils, soups and stews. This loaf is perfect for any meal occasion and works well with both sweet and savoury accompaniments.
Classic Olive Ciabatta
This classic 300g loaf has a light textured centre with large holes typical of this bread style. This has the addition of pitted Italian black olives which are added to the dough before the second ferment. The olives add extra richness to the dough which adds an interesting contrast to the natural sourness of the finished loaf. Due to the production method it has a long shelf of 5 days from production. This bread refreshes easily by toasting or warming in a hot oven. Olive Ciabatta is delicious with charcuterie, antipasto, cheeses and other savoury dishes.
Rolls (6 per pack)
Here we use our classic Ciabatta dough to produce our popular rolls. With an increased surface area these rolls have a light chewy crust and a soft textured crumb. Sold in packs of 6 they are rounded shape. Each roll is slightly different as this is a hand-made and shaped product. Perfect for filled rolls, splitting and toasting and oven warmed to go with soups or stews. These rolls like all Farretti bread freeze easily and are quick to defrost.
Long Rolls (4 per pack)
Here we use our classic Ciabatta dough to produce our popular long rolls. With an increased surface area these rolls have a light chewy crust and a soft textured crumb. Sold in packs of 4 they are rectangular in shape. Each roll is slightly different as this is a hand-made product. Perfect for smaller pannini, sausages, and occasions when a larger roll is required. These rolls like all Farretti bread freeze easily and are quick to defrost.
Pizza Base
Farretti pizza bases are made with our basic bread dough and baked with our classic pizza sauce. Farretti pizza sauce contains chopped tomatoes, seasoning, fresh basil and garlic. This pizza is pre-baked and only needs to cooked for an additional 10 minutes in a hot oven with a topping of your choice. Valeriana recommends Buffalo mozzarella which is has a creamier finish.Perfect for busy families. This product freezes well and can cooked from frozen (follow on pack instructions).
Pizzetta
Farretti pizzetta is a small one person serving. Topped with Farretti tomato sauce, fresh onions, peppers and fresh parsley. Delicious oven baked and eaten as it is, this product is lower in calories than a cheese topped pizza and vegan. Perfect for those who are watching their calorie intake. Farretti pizzetta also lends itself to the addition of your favourite topping including mozzarella and charcuterie. Valeriana recommends Buffalo mozzarella which is has a creamier finish.
